Mobiles can greatly enhance the democratic practices by enabling e-participation

With their penetration to rural and urban areas, mobiles can easily enable citizens to provide feedback on government polices thus accelerating e-democracy initiatives.

Mobile devices are truely emerging as new frontiers for delivery of public services. The devices can be used to provide information as well as gather feedback on the government policies from grassroot communities.
