Mobile and Internet activism emerging as the biggest mobilising force for new generation
The new generation is using the mobile phones and internet in innovative ways to connect to each other and also reporting the events in their locality to rest of the world.
Mobile phones and Internet are fast becoming the default mode of activism for the new generation. In the long run , this has potential to affect the mode of citizen - government interaction and running mass movements. The political parties of future will have to be mobile and internet savvy to be able to reach out to the citizens of knowledge society.
